FieldView 16.1 update makes it easier than ever to produce high quality, portable movies for your presentations. Here are three improvements that work well together:
1 – MP4 - High Quality, Highly Portable, Small Size
FieldView will save movies in MP4 format with h264 encoding to ensure the highest portability without the confusion of countless video formats or the need for 3rd party converters and creates movies with a significantly smaller file size than older formats. This highly portable and efficient format is now the standard output in FieldView.
Go directly to PowerPoint and YouTube from FieldView using the MP4 format. No matter where you make your movie (Windows, Linux or MAC) it will look its best when you share and present it.
2 – Frame Rate Control
Use Frame Rate to speed up or slow down the playback of your movies. The Frame Rate can be set at between 1 and 60 Frames per Second (fps), is embedded in the saved MP4 and you can change the Frame Rate and save the movie again without having to regenerate the movie.
Have a look at a movie I created to see the difference between 15 and 30 fps.
3 – HD Graphics Layout Sizes
Select standard HD layouts including 1080p, 720p and 480p to get the size, aspect ratio, quality and file size you need.
Note that the Frame Rate video was saved at 720p. When you view it on YouTube you can adjust the settings to view the movie at up to 720p resolution.
These three features work together to let you make movies that are high quality, portable and play well with PowerPoint, YouTube and a variety of media players to help you make the best possible presentation of your work.
Try it for yourself. These are just some of the new features FieldView users are excited about. If you have not upgraded to 16.1 yet, I encourage you to do so and then let us know what you think by sending an email to FieldView@ilight.com.
