FieldView 11
The latest release of FieldView software provides the most powerful workflow and productivity improvements in years. Users will benefit from:
- New interactive analysis capabilities
- A new toolkit for custom interfaces without compilers
- Revolutionary new capability for working with transient data
- Collaboration improvements through new interactive viewer
Major new features include:
- Dynamic Clipping — Interactively cut through entire assemblies with simple click-n-drag action
- FieldView ATViewer — Interrogate large steady and transient datasets interactively, share your results with interactive viewer
- Parametric streamline seeding — Create spherical, rectangular, or circular seeding patterns
- New 64-bit ports and stereo support for Linux
- User defined toolkit using shared libraries
Dynamic Clipping
When you want to explore an area of your model that is occluded by other model geometry, dynamic clipping allows you to quickly cut away parts of your geometry to expose the area of interest.
- Create line or box cuts with simple click-n-drag actions
- Successively cut away sections of your geometry
- Manage clip groups through the GUI, remaining in your interactive FieldView session
- Undo any clips that don’t produce the desired results
- Perform integrations on clipped surfaces – dynamic clipping is fully integrated with all quantitative features of FieldView software
- Save clip groups and apply to new datasets using FieldView restart files
- Achieve numerical precision and automate your workflow using FVX scripts
Parametric Streamline Seeding
FieldView 11 enables you to create streamline seeding patterns in your datasets that are spherical, rectangular, or circular. Define and adjust the seeding the seeding pattern parametrically using the streamline seeding GIU. Automate your workflow with FVX script integration.
User-Defined Toolkit using shared libraries
The Toolkit within FieldView gives you the ability to interface directly with solvers or custom data readers can interface directly with FieldView. The new Toolkit capability is built using shared libraries for maximum flexibility and ease of implementation
- No compiler required
- Libraries can be run on both FieldView Client and FieldView Server
- Support for surface and face-baed results
- Available for 64-bit LINUX (AMD64 and Intel Itanium), 64-bit Solaris (server only), Apple MAC, and 32-bit LINUX
